Cook and Bake with Culinary Lavender
Lavender Garlic Bread

Ingredients
- 1 loaf French bread
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 5 cloves crushed fresh garlic
- 1 tsp crushed Lavender buds
- 1 pinch Sea salt
Servings: people
Instructions
- Melt the butter with the garlic, lavender buds, and sea salt and let it simmer on very low for 5 minutes. Make slices into the loaf and bread pour the melted butter mixture into the slices. Wrap in foil and place in oven at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.

Lavender-Frangelico Whipped Cream

Ingredients
- 1 oz Frangelico liqueur
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 tbsp crushed Lavender buds
Servings: cups of whipped cream
Instructions
- Soak lavender buds overnight in the Frangelico and strain liquid through a fine mesh sieve. With a mixer, whip the cream and slowly add the liquid until light and fluffy. Serve over caramelized apples, pies, ice cream, cakes, and so on.

Lavender Beef Carpaccio

Ingredients
- 4 oz beef tenderloin
- 2 tbsp capers
- 2 tbsp minced shallot
- 1 pinch crushed oregano
- 1 pinch ground thyme
- 2 pinches ground lavender buds
- some Fresh ground black pepper
- some Sea salt
- some olive oil
- a few Lemon wedges
Servings: people
Instructions
- Freeze tenderloin prior to prep and partially thaw before slicing paper-thin discs and arranging in a single layer on platter. Sprinkle minced shallot and capers over sliced beef. Lightly drizzle with oil and dust with the herbs, pepper, and salt. Serve with lemon wedges to dress each bite.

- 1/3 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground coriander
- 1/4 cup Champagne vinegar
- 4 pinches crushed Lavender buds
Garnish with:
- some Fresh grated horseradish
- a few Lemon wedges

- First, combine: minced fresh shallot ground black pepper ground coriander Champagne vinegar crushed Lavender buds
- Second, garnish with: Fresh grated horseradish Lemon wedges
- Serve on crushed ice with horseradish and lemon.
